segregated

Today in our afternoon seminar, participants explored the ways in how Jim Crow laws were developed and accelerated from 1896-1954 by examining the case of Plessy v. Ferguson (1896) and completing a gallery walk activity on the images, charts and graphs, statistics, and the legal language of Jim Crow laws during this time period known as the "Era of Jim Crow."
