Mr. Valenzuela

Civics Homework – Oct 28

Today in class, students explained how we elect government officials in the United States, and learned how the process for electing the President (through the Electoral College) is unique. Students also looked at various warrants to back up the competing claims about whether to keep the Electoral College, or not.

Homework - p. 54 -  Write a letter to a friend explaining the Electoral College, and telling him/her your opinion, should we still use the Electoral College to determine who will be President of the United States? Why or why not? (10 sentences)
