Civics Homework – Oct 11

Today in class, students learned about the landmark Supreme Court case Korematsu v. United States (1944). Students analyzed the different arguments made in the case from both sides, and learned about the outcome of Japanese-Americans interred during World War II.

Homework - p. 34 - Complete the Korematsu Poster Handout - your poster must be neat and colorful for a stamp! If you want to see some actual propaganda posters from World War II, check out the Boston Public Library's War Posters collection.

Reminder - the Unit 1 Interview of an Immigrant Project is due this Friday October 14!
