Today in class, students had the opportunity to present their Latin America Country Wikipedia Mini-Projects to classmates and to receive feedback. Students also had a chance to fact-check and corroborate evidence in each others' work.

Homework - p. 8 - Write a reflection of at least 10 sentences about what you learned about your country by completing this project, and what you learned about several other countries from today's presentations.

Reminders:

1) Remember to study for your quiz on both the Unit 3 Vocabulary and the map of Latin America and its countries (where they are located). You can use the PRACTICE QUIZ to test yourself on your knowledge of Latin America.

2) Remember that your final slides of the Latin America Country Wikipedia Mini Project must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Wednesday 11/20!

Humanities 7 – Latin American Country Research Mini-Project

Unit 3: Latin America Country Research Mini-Project

In this creative research project, students will create a “Wikipedia entry” about your assigned Latin American country, which you will use to teach other classmates. Your “Wikipedia entry” will include the country’s statistics, a short history and overview, two tourist attractions, a summary of a local news issue, and at least one picture. Your goal is to make your classmates want to visit your country!
