Today in class, students assessed what they have learned in Civics so far this year by completing the multiple choice section of the Mid Year Exam.

Homework - p. 8 - Write a study note of 6+ sentences to Mr. V about how you studied for the Mid Year Exam. The open response section of the Mid Year Exam is TOMORROW, so make sure you are prepared with your completed essay brainstorm! You will be allowed to use this handout on tomorrow's portion of the exam.

At left is a photograph that Mr. V took in 2009 of the 'Catedral de las Americas' - the oldest cathedral in the Americas, built in 1512! Mr. V would like to wish a 'Happy Independence Day' for the Dominican Republic and all of her citizens around the world!
